I have a master’s degree in textile art from Latvian Art Academy part of my studies I have spent in Berlin University of Arts (DE). My works can be considered as "the modernization of tradition". In my art projects I use traditional textile, graphics, and photo manipulation techniques in order to reveal my digitally generated concepts. I am working with different codes, sound tracks, data visualisations and only in my photo manipulations I allow myself to become more poetic and speak out in more dreamy manner. I have had several soloexhibitions and workshops in Latvia and abroad: Daugavpils Mark Rothko centre exhibition Love infinity, Art Academy of Latvia Sounds of Rēzekne, exhibition in 6th conference of the SLSAeu Textures, etc. I have had public presentation about my work in electronic-text+textiles in Riga , 3rd Contemporary Moscow Art biennal and etc. I am a lecturer at the Art Academy of Latvia.
